What's great about simple, fresh, seasonal cooking is that the quality speaks for itself.

The Rose and Thistle's regularly changing menu is based on some of the best produce our British Isles have to offer. Try our Devon crab & salmon fishcakes with lemon & chive crème fraîche and beetroot salad, or the 21-day aged West Country roast beef we serve on Sundays, and you'll get the idea. What's more, using ingredients when they're at their best seasonally means there's always something new to try.

Or if you fancy something smaller, our regularly changing hot bar-snacks, such as Gloucester Old Spot sausage rolls with brown sauce or grilled pork belly, apricot & ginger chutney, pair perfectly with our speciality beers and well chosen wines.
